Chatham, MA Waterfront Ryder's Cove
This tear down and rebuild required approval from Conservation and Zoning Board of Appeals as it is located on a spectacular waterfront (non-conforming) lot. Height restrictions and a steep sloped lot limited the mass of the home. The owners were sensitive to the vernacular Cape cottage style of the neighborhood. Although spacious and with a modern large open plan, the house was designed to feel like a summer cottage both inside and out.
